Bardstown Just Got a Biggby & I’m Basically a Barista Now (Just Kidding, But Not Really)

Stop the presses, y’all—Bardstown has officially joined the caffeinated elite. That’s right, we now have a Biggby Coffee. Go ahead and clutch your pearls.

Now before they officially opened, Biggby did this soft launch thing where they were slinging FREE drinks so their baristas could get some practice in. (Um, yes please. Free AND caffeinated? Say less.) Naturally, I took one for the team and marched in there like the loyal local coffee lover I am. I tried their Iced Butter Bear Latte—because if it has “butter” and “bear” in the name, you know it’s gonna be a vibe.

Let me tell you, this thing was sweeter than a southern grandma’s peach cobbler and had a coffee kick strong enough to resurrect your will to fold laundry. It’s a caramel and butterscotch mashup that basically tastes like dessert in a cup. And yes, I will absolutely be drinking it again. Probably while pretending to be more productive than I actually am.

Fast forward to today—your girl had to make a run to Wally World (aka Walmart, for the uninitiated) because I was dangerously low on razors and body wash. Can’t be out here lookin’ like a feral woodland creature, you know? On my way, I remembered Biggby was officially open, and well… it would’ve been rude not to stop.

Now, I’d already had approximately four cups of coffee this morning (don’t judge me, judge your mama), so I decided to switch it up and try one of their Red Bull Mocktails. I went with the Strawberry Punch flavor and oh my fizz, it was giving red cream soda realness. PLUS there were legit strawberry chunks in it—like they actually cared about my fruit intake. Health queens.

10/10 would drink again. Honestly, I’ll probably be back tomorrow. Or tonight. Who knows? Time is fake when you’re running on Red Bull and retail therapy.
