Happy Belated Thanksgiving… Do People Even Say That?

Happy belated Thanksgiving, y’all!
Wait—do people even say that? I don’t know, but we’re gonna roll with it because we were so busy/lazy (heavy emphasis on the lazy) that I didn’t even think about doing a check-in. My bad, friends.

So instead… here I am, on December 3rd, with my late Thanksgiving love and early Christmas chaos. Classic Simply Sina timing.

Life Lately: Kentucky, Christmas, and Chaos

As of right now, it’s looking like we will be spending the beginning of next week up in Kentucky with the crew. We’re planning to do Christmas at that time too since SaltLife Santa is officially booked and busy. The Florida kiddos need their Christmas spirit, and Santa B is out here delivering it like Amazon Prime with a beard.

So Kentucky Christmas it is — early gifts, early snacks, early messes. Perfect.

My Boys, My Camera, and A Whole Lot of “I Hope This Works”

Sunday afternoon I pulled out the ol’ camera (yes, the one I pretend to know how to use) and took some pictures of the boys for our Christmas card.

Now listen… I don’t have a ton of experience with portraits or “manual settings,” or honestly anything that requires numbers…
But I think they turned out pretty dang cute.
And if they didn’t? We’re just gonna act like they did. That’s the Simply Sina way.

In Other News: I Learned to Finger Knit

Oh—and before I forget—I learned to finger knit this week.

Why?
Because my brain said, “You know what we need? A hobby that uses literally nothing but our hands and yarn while we ignore life responsibilities.”

So yeah… an eventful week after Thanksgiving it has been.
