			It’s Finally Friday!
Well y’all, it’s finally Friday—and I mean finally. Even though we didn’t make it home until early Monday morning, this week has felt about fourteen days long. Maybe it’s just the post-trip exhaustion catching up with me, or maybe it’s that weird in-between weather Florida’s got going on right now. Either way, I’m ready for the weekend!
The boys are out of school Monday and Tuesday, which means we’re looking at a nice, long four-day weekend. We don’t really have any solid plans yet, but I’m sure we’ll find something fun (and probably a little chaotic) to do. Carson’s been talking about going somewhere to take pictures, and honestly, I’m all for it. I’ve had my eye on a Key West day trip for a while now—but with Harmony coming next week, it’s probably smarter to save our money for all the adventures we’ll get into with her. If only we were filthy rich, right? Imagine the fun we could have then!
Now, let me tell you about what Floridians are calling a cold front. Bless their hearts, because this is not what I’d call cold. It’s 74 degrees with 90% humidity, and somehow, it feels like stepping out of a warm shower straight into a wind tunnel. You’re not cold—you’re just… moist. The breeze hits you, and instead of refreshing, it’s like a sticky slap in the face. I’ve officially learned that Florida cold fronts are more about attitude than temperature.
So, here’s to the weekend ahead—four days of not setting alarms, maybe snapping a few good pictures, and definitely finding something worth laughing about. Whether it’s Key West dreams or backyard adventures, I’m just glad to have a little break.
Until next time,
Bless it & Buy it, y’all.
