Ho Ho Ho! Only 3 Days Until Christmas

I love Christmas. I truly do. But this year feels different. This is our first Christmas without Nannie, and I won’t lie—it’s been hard. I miss her deeply, and some moments feel heavier than others. Still, I’m showing up, doing the best I can, and holding space for both joy and grief.

Yesterday marked the first official day of winter, and Florida did what Florida does best—sunshine and 80 degrees. Enjoying that warm weather was nothing short of epic and exactly what my heart needed.

I spent the weekend taking more photos, and I’m really starting to fall in love with photography. It feels like something is finally clicking. I may even look into photography classes so I can learn the right way from the beginning and continue growing in this new creative space.

I’ve also opened a SmugMug site to showcase my portfolio and possibly sell some of my street photography. Digital downloads and prints are available, and this step feels both exciting and a little scary.

The next few days will be spent at Santa gigs, enjoying Florida’s warm winter, and soaking up the Christmas season as much as possible.
